How to Achieve A Natural Makeup Look

Recently, I put together an everyday natural makeup look using CoverFx and Fenty Beauty products. I’m not interested in wearing full beat faces this Summer, because one, I live in the South where it gets hot and sweaty, and two, I just don’t want to look like I’m in costume. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still very much obsessed with makeup. Something about getting dressed up makes me feel GOOD!

So I wanted to try a different approach to the way I do my makeup and wanted to see how I can make it look like I’m wearing little to no makeup. Haha sounds counterintuitive right, so if you are a man confused reading this post you might want to exit out of women’s business.

Anyways, the first thing to achieve the no-make up, natural makeup look is to really focus on prepping the skin. This is where you clean and prime the skin, opting for a hydrating moisturizer, which is very important especially whether you have dry or oily skin. Never put makeup on skin that has not been moisturized. Allow your moisturizer to absorb in the skin for at least 10 minutes. Trust me on this. Then, whether you decide to add put on sunscreen or go in with your primer next, let that next layer sit for a few minutes as well.
